With the digital diagnosis monitor function, the optical transceiver module is of some intelligence, and can provide a simple means of performance monitoring to improve the efficiency of communication management.On basis of the above, the paper makes a research on the small form pluggable (SFP) optical transceiver module with the digital diagnosis monitor function, and does a deep study of optical module principle, digital diagnosis principle, optical module hardware design, optical modules underlying software design, and monitor software design, giving a common design means of the SFP optical module with the digital diagnostic function.In the part of the study of optical module controlling, the paper employs micro control unit (MCU) and memory unit with a good flexibility and cost-effective, substituting for traditional control chip with the digital diagnosis monitor function. It also poses a new method of retrorse data calibration in the study of data calibration of the five analog parameter(operating voltage,module temperature,bias current, transmitted optical power,received optical power), based on the SFF-8472 protocol providing the positive data calibration. The retrorse data calibration provides the convenience for the testers and improves the test efficiency. In the way of monitoring, it conceives a scheme on automatic test system of optical module, which can improve the monitor efficiency compared with the manual test. Besides , the paper also involves the master and slave module IIC communication, the parallel port simulate IIC communication protocol, automatic temperature compensation, the conversion of A/D, FLASH programming, the fixed point operation replacing floating point operation, the optimization of MCU code, and so on. Experiment verification shows that the optical module meets the requirements of SFF-8472 and multi source protocol MSA, and using the retrorse data calibration to calibrate data, the five analog calibrating deviations also satisfy the requirements of the index.

Most existent and mature technologies are not well suited for the unique features and application requirements of sensor networks.In every kind of computer network, routing always is one of key technologies and determines the performance of whole network. The unique features and application requirements of sensor networks need a routing protocol which can fulfill goals including high energy efficiency, high scalability, robustness, and supporting data aggregation.In this dissertation, the features and goals of routing protocol in WSN are well studied. And existent typical routing protocols are classified, analyzed and compared. Especially, the routing protocols with virtual hierarchy are discussed detailedly. Then, we proposed the algorithm for the large scale number of nodes inside the cluster. The main achievements of this paper are as follows:(1) As the node of wireless sensor networks is power-limited, it proposes a new routing model which put the optimized least-hop routing method in use on the current cluster-based routing method, in this routing method, the node can transfer information to the head of cluster by its only intermediate node, and at the same time use the parameter energy level to ensure the safety of low power node. Simulation result shows a better power management performance and can prolong the lifetime of the network.(2) In passive working environment, wireless sensor networks have special characteristics. Based on the cluster-based data transmission mode, the paper proposes a new method that a cluster is built in a cluster. After sensor nodes in a cluster are waken up, they send the request to the cluster-head, cluster-head heard the request and organize the waken node to a new cluster, use the route of the BFCC algorithm have created to transmit the data to the small cluster-head, and the transmit to the cluster-head. This transmission mode can eliminate the data collision and decrease the energy consumption of sensor nodes. Wireless sensor networks(WSN) are multi-hop self-organized network systems in which massive sensor nodes are randomly deployed to communicate with each other, and it can be wildly used in many areas such as national defense, environmental monitoring, medical treatment and outer space exploration. The performance of node localization which is regarded as one of the sustainable techniques in WSN has been the basis of most applications in WSN. Self-localization of sensor node is to get the position information of node by using information of some known nodes and some special mechanisms. Correct self-localization of sensor nodes in the promotion of monitoring events normally.There is unpractical shortcoming in the node localization, such as great impacted by circumstances, high algorithm complexity and huge energy-costs. It is obviously that the technology of wireless sensor networks will go-ahead very quickly and its applications will be wider and wider in the coming future. Thus it can be seen that designing practical localization technology is a very essential and challenging research issue in WSN, and it is of great significance as well.In this thesis, we study the localization technology of wireless sensor networks completely and in depth. At first, we introduce the basic concepts and key techniques of WSN. Then, we investigate the basic theory of localization technology in WSN. We classify the existing typical localization technology, and represent the performance standard.This thesis mainly focuses on the research of the localization technology of sensor nodes in WSN and proposes two range-free localization algorithms. The main achievements of this paper are listed as follows:(1) To solve the limitation that DV-Hop algorithm can’t locate accurately when the twisted path exists in wireless sensor networks due to the barriers, we introduces the concept of Trusty-Degree, and proposes a Trusty-Degree based localization algorithm—TDDV-Hop, which can filter the appropriate average distance per hop by estimating the value of Trusty-Degree. Simulation result demonstrates that TDDV-Hop algorithm can reduce the localization error by twisted path, and improve the accuracy of localization. (2) In order to use less anchor nodes to achieve more precise localization, we propose a range-free localization algorithm which is based on three mobile anchor nodes, the algorithm can guarantee that each unknown node can choose the anchor nodes which are not far away from itself to implement localization, and construct an optimization model to maximize the area of double overlay regions in the network. The results of simulation show that this algorithm can improve the precision of localization.For the node localization algorithm is such a complicated problem, this paper just researches some points of it. There still remains a lot of awkward problems. In order to design a perfect algorithm, we have to think over and study from various orientations and angles. Meanwhile, we should consider the factors of power cost, time waste, etc. It will be need to be studied more in depth in future work.

With the emergence of QoS strictly required services (such as real-time multimedia services, VoIP, etc.), wireless sensor network should be able to provide the corresponding quality of service (Quality of Service, QoS) ensurence.Sensor network system typically includes sensor (Sensor node), aggregation node (Sink node) and the management node. Within or near the monitoring area (sensor field) randomly deploys a large number of sensor nodes, which can constitute a network by self-organizing. Data are transmitted along the sensor nodes hop-by-hop and probably processed by multiple nodes before reaching the cluster, finally through the Internet or satellite received by management node. Users according to the management nodes configure, manage and issue tasks, as well as collect monitored data.Having the characteristics of multihop path, limited bandwidth, low computing ability and storage capacity and constrained energy, Wireless sensor networks can not copy the QoS routing protocols which work in traditional wired networks and wireless networks with centers. Therefore, new designed QoS routing algorithms specialized for wireless sensor networks are needed. Now it has become a challenging task and research hot spot.The main purpose of our research is to design a QoS routing algorithm in the wireless sensor network. Present achievements are mainly as follows:(1) Considering the wireless sensor network node characteristics and QoS constraints like the residual energy, delay, delay jitter and bandwidth, we propose Surplus Energy Qos Multicast Routing Algorithm based on WSN, SEQMRA-W for short. Our algorithm takes the maximum remainder energy as the first measure, meanwhile taking into account the node bandwidth, delay, delay jitter and so on. We also do some algorithm complexity analysis. Simulation results show the algorithm performs well in routing success rate, multicast tree costs and energy consumption.(2) For the QoS routing problems in mobile wireless sensor network, we introduce the Effective Neighbor and Choice Factor competition mechanisms and then propose a QoS multicast routing mechanism based on Choice Factor. This algorithm generates the optimal path to meet the requirements according to the Choice Factor. Simulation results prove the algorithm correct and effective, also able to enhance the network performance, thus it can be applied to a variety of real-time situation.As the rapid development of multimedia services in wireless sensor networks, QoS assurance has become an important supportive function in sensor network communication. Since the sensor network features makes QoS routing problem more complicated, there are still many urgent problems which need to be further studied.

The simulation results show that the power spectrum density of the combined pulses approachs to the indoor spectral mask. The spectrum utilization rate of the combined pulses achieves more than ninety precent, and is much higher than that of the second Gaussian derivative pulse.For the Time Hopping UWB with Binary Pulse Position Modulation (2PPM-TH-UWB) system is compared with, the Direct Spread UWB with Binary Pulse Amplitude Modulation (2PAM-DS-UWB) system, and the Time Hopping UWB with Binary Pulse Shape Modulation (2PAM-TH-UWB) system, the comparison of their Bit Error Rate(BER) is carried out over the additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channels. Over AWGN channels and multipath channels, the simulation of the Time Hopping UWB with Binary Pulse Shape Modulation (2PSM-TH-UWB) systems is made through ultilizing the Gaussian orthogonal pulses and the orthogonal eigenvalue pulses. The result shows that the latter has better performance.Based on the Standard Gaussian Approximation (SGA), the formula of Bit Error Rate (BER) in the 2PSM-THMA UWB system is deduced. Under ideal power control, the 2PSM-THMA UWB systems with different numbers of interference users and different kinds of bit rate are discussed. The simulation result reveals that the system performance can be improved through increasing the energy or power of every transmitted pulse, and reducing the bit rate. Futhermore, the performance of UWB receiver in the multiuser interference circumstance is simulated. The results show that the BER performance of the system is consistent with the theoretic result. Moreover, their approach effect is better when the number of interference users increases.
